This session will focus on analyzing key performance factors and the root cause of typical performance problems when deploying ArcGIS Server. This knowledge can be used to implement cost-effective system improvements that will lead to higher productivity and user satisfaction. Using a bottom-up approach, we'll identify critical components such as data sources, the geodatabase, geoprocessing, map documents, application, system architecture design, hardware, and virtualization as well as quantify how optimization of these components impacts overall performance and scalability.
