The establishment of Geospatial Hub Sites and the use of the STARS Certification testing materials in several communities around the country are helping focus the educational community on the skills and competencies the geospatial industry requires of new hires. The Geospatial Hub Site designation comes from the Center of Geospatial Excellence run by MsET (Mississippi Enterprise for Technology) located at NASA’s John C. Stennis Space Center in Mississippi.
