Using Business Analyst to Inform Community College Workforce Development Programs

This session will showcase the partnership between the California Community Colleges and Esri in customizing Business Analyst (BA) to support a statewide initiative that forecasts industry trends and workforce needs. Nine regional Centers of Excellence are using BA to provide up-to-date labor market information and high-growth industry trends to inform college's strategic decision-making, curriculum development, and positioning of their training programs. This session will demonstrate these approaches, as well as the unique use of the BA tools to strengthen business and education partnerships.
