Image-based Environmental Analysis in an Educational Context
Track: Teaching with GIS in Higher Education
Authors: Amy Ballard

Imagery provides resource for research and education, from simple analog photo interpretation to advanced software-based techniques. Over the past 5 years, the remote sensing curriculum has evolved along this continuum, aided by the addition of advanced software and hardware, supported in part by the iGETT grant. Field work and local projects also enhance the learning opportunities. This poster will feature student projects that demonstrate the skills taught at the college within both the remote sensing course and wider geospatial curriculum.
