The iGETT Project: Integrating Geospatial Technologies at Two-Year Colleges
Track: Teaching with GIS in Higher Education
Authors: Osa Brand

iGETT (Integrated Geospatial Education and Technology Training) was funded by the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education Program, 2007-2010. The project enhances GIS technician education by enabling instructors to integrate GIS, remote sensing and GPS.
The project outcomes include valuable program enrichment at the participating institutions and a website that houses instructional resources. The website includes all presentations made at the iGETT summer institutes and over 30 sets of participant-developed curriculum materials that were designed to support a wide range of courses. All website resources are available at no cost to interested faculty and students.
