Through the teaching of perception and analysis of the risks that directly or indirectly affect communities, Colleges Doctum, in a pioneering way, in the early periods of the courses of Engineering, educates its students through the development of studies in ArcGis classroom and subsequent field evaluation so that students can understand the importance of using the ArcGIS platform in studies of environmental disasters.
So immediate, students understand the need for investment and use of appropriate GIS software in simulation of environmental disasters.
The integration of the theories of slope stability analysis, the assessment practices in the field, through the construction of pessimistic and optimistic scenarios through ArcGIS. The development of pedagogical focus of the 'Geographic Intelligence' inspiring future engineers.
