Various examples of how GIS can be integrated into teaching adult learners about a variety of integrated social science topics. Specific thought is given to how to best connect with adult learners on important, applied content, in a non-profit, educational setting. Specifically, a focus is on how learning GIS can contribute to educational resiliency for students across disciplines.
