Abstract
Creation of Spatial Bibliographies to Direct Plant & Wildlife Research
Track: Teaching and Research
Authors: Mark Jackson, Steven Petersen
Students and faculty are currently searching throughout peer-reviewed, non peer-reviewed, and unpublished materials (government documents, reports, articles) related to quaking aspen, wild horses, and sage-grouse to determine the most accurate spatial location for the location of each study. Using ArcGIS Online, we are developing a reference system for viewing papers by subject, date, and geographic location to allow scientists and managers to focus their future research where most needed.
