Abstract

ATLAS-GIS on territory of the Middle Urals includes the maps set scale 1:500000 and have a significant interest on geology, mineral resources and management of the used earth bowels.

ATLAS-GIS consist of the geological maps, structural-tectonics (facies) maps, maps of the prognostic mineral resources on iron ores, copper-zinc-lead ores, gold and platinum ores, chromites, manganese ores, bocsites, rare-earth elements, mica, asbestos, talc, graphite, stones and other. ATLAS contains a brief informations on main geological features.

ATLAS-GIS covered the area more than 100 000 sq.km. in more perspective regions of the MiddleUrals with developed minig and industry.
