Abstract

Coherently with the illustration given at the Esri conference which took place in Rome last year, Atac provided itself with GIS tools and realized some components of the territorial informative its system to support Core Business. The system includes the integration of production (planning, service programming and control), marketing, sales planning, ticketing and client information functions.
Following these principles, prototypes for normalitation and geocoding of marketing data, for quality transport service monitoring; a jouney planning system, based on internet technologies and available to the customer, have been prototyped.
