Enterprise video for utilities is becoming a reality. High capacity wireless backbones with integrated security systems are emerging as vaible tools to cut costs associated with routine inpection and maintenance. Detection and monitoring software is changing from a passive to active observer enabling staff to be utilized in a higher value role.
This presentation will provide a demonstration of how a California Special District is utilizing these tools and technologies in an effort to deliver industry best practice solutions while reducing overall costs.
