Digital Target Hazard Plans GeoData Model
Track: Critical Infrastructure Protection
Authors: Paul Hardwick

The San Diego region has adopted a digital target hazard plans geodatabase model. The model is designed to store pre-plan information with spatial coordinates that will assist first responders understand the situation they are headed into. Initial information consists of the building footprint and its surroundings. Additional information is available about building interiors and associated alarm panels, shut-off valves, fire suppressant devices, and fire fighter connections. This data model has now been adopted by our Regional Terrorism Threat Assessment Center for use in collecting information on critical infrastructure sites within the region.
