Abstract
Wide Area Motion Imaging (WAMI) provides real-time maps in motion
Track: Imagery Change Detection
Authors: Steve Suddarth
Wide Area Motion Imaging (WAMI) creates “maps in motion” for ArcGIS applications like traffic analysis and security. WAMI’s uses include crowd control, traffic studies, forensic crime solving, emergency response, disaster relief, and major events. WAMI systems can also provide dense 3D models, automated tracking of vehicles and people, and superresolved imagery. Transparent Sky makes novel, inexpensive WAMI for small drones and manned aircraft and has built its first experimental spacecraft.
