Copenhagen Transport currently implements a system called PubTrans for operational purposes such as online passenger information and real-time information. Scheduling is done in Hastus 4.9/5.9. Geographic information is an important foundation for all planning, operational, and analytical systems in Copenhagen Transport. Geographic objects and data are stored in an SDE database. The geographic objects can have several spatial representations, as well as different versions. The fully versioned database allows historical tracking of changes and planning of future changes. Integrity in the database is based on spatial and temporal relationships between objects. An ArcView GIS application is used to manage the geographic objects.
