Many telecommunications features that are maintained in the GIS have detail and ancillary views associated to them that are created by other applications. These views contain detailed representations of equipment such as chassis and racks. This paper describes how the combination of OLE/COM, ArcSDE, and binary large objects (BLOBS) can be leveraged to manage non-GIS drawings associated with geographic features. |
