The paper will deal with the use of digital multispectral imagery for habitat evaluation, pervious/impervious studies, and land use classification for environmental impact assessment and planning for the Pacific salmon. The data evaluated will be a combination of digital multispectral imagery from a four-band multispectral sensor at .5-meter to one-meter resolution and IKONOS four-meter MS data. The paper will look at the usefulness of each data type for this type of evaluation.
