Overcoming Raster Fear for Esri Users Author: Clark Nelson 1897 Preston White Drive Phone: 703-715-3131 For a variety of reasons, the traditional focus of GIS and mapping has been vector-based. With recent and near-future advances in technology, software, and data characteristics, there is now a new universe of raster image/information sources available.
