Socioeconomic data is helpful in suggesting specific locations where the need for services is greatest. However, available data may not be timely or in a useful format. In addition, many factors influencing the need for and the utilization of services are individualistic in nature. Despite these challenges, ArcView may be a useful tool for increasing consumer access and quality of care. Specific tasks include presenting and analyzing population and consumer-based data for both planning and evaluation. |
