The Bay Area stream fishes database is presented as the first online mapping application of the San Francisco Bay Area EcoAtlas. It contains historical and modern information about native and introduced fishes collected by Region IX of the U.S. EPA and the San Francisco Estuary Institute. Stream survey data of numbers and lengths of 40 species of fish is enhanced by a newly created USGS National Hydrography High-Resolution Dataset and USGS quadrangle and SFEI aerial image basemaps.
