Geographic information systems are beginning to see application in a new and exciting arena. More and more, spatial technologies are making the transition from strictly non-real-time analysis into the realm of real/near real-time decision support. This paper presents the application of GIS technology in the development of a proof-of-concept display system for an aviation Command and Control (C2) environment. |
