School districts have been using GIS successfully for years in boundary redistricting, performing 20:1 classroom studies, studying court mandated ethnicity policies, projecting future enrollment, and planning facilities. We will focus on two case studies--Pasadena Independent School District and Virginia Beach City Public Schools. These two districts have used GIS in implementing new boundary policies and forecasting projected enrollments.
