The Community Address Updating System: Maintaining and Updating the Census Bureau's Address List for an Annual Survey Author: Thomas Coughlin Room 1657 FOB 3 Phone: (301)457-8055 The Census Bureau is developing a community address updating system (CAUS) that will continuously update the address files used to conduct the American Community Survey and other surveys that the Census Bureau conducts. The CAUS program is now in the development and testing phase, with full implementation planned for 2002. This presentation will provide an overview of the CAUS program objectives, procedures, and plans. |
