Raytheon has designed a Product Generator Extension (PGE) within ARCView that enables users to produce a suite of map series from year-to-year. Behind the scenes, PGE is database driven, relying on a customized interplay between Oracle, ARCView and SDE to populate a selected map template automatically. PGE maintains consistency both across map products and within a map series over time, simplifying production activities and improving quality. |
