Abstract
Using GIS for Hazard Mitigation in the City of Le Mars

The City of Le Mars’ presentation will concentrate on our efforts to build a functional GIS system that will assist in hazard mitigation planning and recovery. Currently, the City of Le Mars uses AutoCAD, but we have not collected any data and we did not have GIS software. With the assistance of the Esri Community Challenge Grant, the City now has the tools to begin building our GIS system.
