Abstract
Aerial and Satellite Imagery Distribution Through the Geography Network

This paper describes the distribution of aerial and satellite imagery through the Geography Network from the perspective of ORBIMAGE. ORBIMAGE currently produces and sells the OrbView Cities line of aerial imagery which includes over 80 major cities worldwide. This year ORBIMAGE plans to launch two imaging satellites, OrbView-3 and OrbView-4 which will produce one-meter resolution imagery on a global scale. The paper will describe how ORBIMAGE is using the Geography Network as a key distribution channel, and the paper will explain how ORBIMAGE is using ArcIMS as the mechanism to host and serve imagery to the Geography Network site.
