Abstract
Mapping Our Schools Makes Sense: Creating a TActical Plan for School Violence Using GIS

This paper will present the author sfinding of research on critical response to school violence using GIS conducted for his participation in the Master Instructor Deveopment Program for the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training. It will discuss how the use of GIS can improve the safety of all parties concerned. It will also report the concusions fo a pilot training program conducted at the Rio Hond Regiona Training Center.
