Abstract
GIS for Making the High Speed Grid Themes

To select suitable facilities of measures for rainwater, it's necessary to use the grid themes containing the sea level and the layer of natural soils at intervals of 50m. It takes a few days to prepare such data if I use a single setup of ArcInfo or ArcView. If I need to produce various trial patterns, it should take a couple of months with the same system setup. To change this time-consuming effort, I combined the simultaneous overlay and the stored procedure of two CPUs, DBMSs. In the text, I would like to present how to implement this method.
