Abstract
Groundwater Modeling in ArcView by Integrating ArcView, MODFLOW, and MODPATH

Groundwater modeling using MODFLOW and MODPATH is integrated into the ArcView 3.x environment using Avenue programing. The paper focuses on delineating WHPAs (Well Head Protection Areas) which is now a requirement for all community water supply wells as per the EPA. Further analysis of the WHPA will be done using an SDSS by looking at the agriculture distribution in the WHPA and also the businesses in the area. A case study area will be focused on, and the results will be used to demonstrate the importance of the study.
