A site data management plan can bring cohesion to the array of data, and if the appropriate tools and procedures are used, useful information for decision making and remedial design can be efficiently gathered. The flow of data from the investigative planning stage through field sample collection, laboratory analysis, evaluation, and reporting of results presents an interconnected cycle of site data management processes and tools. Visualization technologies and advanced modeling techniques can greatly enhance site decision making capabilities. This paper discusses a complete Site Data Management Cycle with case studies of confidential client sites.
