Abstract
USAF ACC GeoReach: GIS in Air Base Planning

U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC) GeoReach fuses imagery, mapping, and databases to give decision makers an integrated picture of deployed air bases in an easily interpreted, georeferenced format. With GeoReach, planners LOCATE potential deployment sites, collect IMAGES, ASSESS the bed down of military forces, MAP in additional data using GPS, and Web-ENABLE the information to increase accessibility and visibility. GeoReach uses Esri's ArcGIS 8.1, ArcIMS, and ArcSDE to provide commanders with a single integrated view of the mission space.
