Using ArcIMS for Stormwater Internet Sites in Greenville County, South Carolina

Woolpert LLP has provided the County of Greenville, South Carolina, and its residents the ability to report on and monitor stormwater information that is vital to the environment, health, and financial impact of stormwater for this large municipality. This presentation describes the creation and uses of a stormwater Internet site built with Esri ArcIMS. The site provides complicated technical data in a simple, visually unambiguous way to users with multiple skill levels. Individuals can gain insight and information by using the tools provided to vary their view and interact with stormwater-related data over a clear, concise map of Greenville County.
