Abstract
Delaware's Environmental Navigator: Delivering Integrated Environmental Information over the Web

Delaware's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) has embarked on a program to make nearly all the information it collects available to the public over the Web. Interactive Internet mapping coupled with form-based display of data and scanned documents and photos, is the most effective way DNREC has found to communicate this information to the public. DNREC has chosen a tool set consisting of ArcIMS, ArcSDE, MrSID, MapObjects, SQL Server, Visual Basic, and ASP to develop the Navigator. This talk will focus on the integration of technologies used to develop the Navigator and the system architecture that supports this integration.
