By partnering with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Clark County, Nevada, was able to structure its data delivery for Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) production. Close coordination between Clark County and the FEMA Mapping Coordination Contractor helped expedite Map Mod production. Raster files to be used with the DFIRM view tool and vector GIS files were delivered. An overview of the technical challenges faced during the creation of the Map Mod DFIRM will be discussed. In addition, the products and tools delivered to the County and the public will be showcased in this session.
