Applying Spatial Statistics in Real Estate Studies

Several spatial statistical methods are available for professionals in the real estate industry. However, these methods are predominantly used in the academic milieu. This paper serves as an introduction to spatial statistics for GIS professionals in real estate. Topics such as spatiotemporal dependencies, spatial regression, spatial autocorrelation, etcetera will be discussed along with their applications such as developing automated valuation and pleasure-based pricing models.
