Abstract
Access to Pediatric Trauma Care
Track: Health and Human Services

The primary goals of this study is to analyze how pediatric patients access trauma care and to evaluate prehospital and hospital compliance with current protocols and internal triage guidelines. A secondary goal is to obtain a demographic profile of major traumatic childhood injury based on route of access to care. ArcView 3.2 was used to analyze geographic patterns in transport destination and protocol compliance.
