Track: Metadata and Data Publishing
Author(s): Kevin Stewart

This session will present strategy for creating and maintaining metadata at the feature-level utilizing Spatial Data Standards (SDS) as a foundation. The purpose of feature-level metadata is to help track the history of features with regard to how and when they were created, who modified them, and where they came from. In addition to the benefits of feature-level metadata, detailed policy will be discussed on attaching these pieces of information to individual features in the database and how these processes can be performed within an ArcMap editing session.
