Implementing a Geodatabase: Issues and Solutions

Converting an organization's data to a geodatabase can be a daunting task. The key to a successful geodatabase conversion is planning. This paper will address a variety of conceptual and technical issues challenging an organization's ability to successfully convert data to the geodatabase environment. Topics for discussion include source data types and integrity as well as multiple aspects of the current ArcGIS suite of software tools used to create and manage a geodatabase.
