Abstract
Development of Residential Parking Permit Program Management System Using GIS

We developed RPMS (Residental Parking permit program Management System) using MapObjects 2.1. This system consist of Parking Lot Design Support System and Parking Lot Management System. it can analyze parking lot supply and demand on the local street. And it can estimate parking demand on future. Also it can manage, update, and analyze data about parking. Officer can install parking lot on the local street using this system. Moreover this system can assign parking lots to applicant and inform to applicant about assignment result automatically. The administrator can query the information about parking lot, number, administrator, user, permit time, and so on.
We expect that this system will help to efficient management of RPPP, and it can help to solve parking problem on the local street or residential area in the metropolitan city like Seoul in Korea.
