Abstract
Integrating Map Maintenance and Business Processes in Local Government
Track: Cadastral and Land Records

This presentation will cover the rewards and challenges of implementing integrated geographic and land information systems. First part, led by Alachua County's Property Appraiser and the immediate past president of the International Association of Assessment Officers, Ed Crapo, will relate the County's work with NovaLIS Technologies to implement a customized Geodatabase Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal and Assessment Administration (CAMA/AA) System for Alachua County. Second part, with Jay Arnold, President 3001, Inc., will speak to their experience in implementing NovaLIS' solution for managing land development and permitting, Land Development Office. The final part, led by a NovaLIS Parcel Editor customer, will discuss building and maintaining a parcel database.
