Abstract
Present Condition Survey of the Urban Area in Kobe City, Japan

In Kobe City of Japan, the earthquake disaster reconstruction work that is being carried out after 1995 is going on steadily. On the other hand, there is the area where it is unused sufficiently and underdeveloped base institution such as the road into the urban area. This paper described the present condition survey of the urban area using city planning foundation survey data totaling with the town district unit because of grasping the subject of future city planning.
