Abstract
Integrating Maximo (EAM Systems) with ArcIMS

This paper will discuss integrating Maximo (Enterprise Asset Management software - used widely by the military and corporate entities) with ArcIMS. I will detail the relationship between the Maximo 'Location Hierarchy' and spatial attributes, and how to create a relationship in systems that were not originally designed to work with GIS. I will show how to use ASP technology to browse work orders, equipment records, annual maintenance, HazMat, CAD files and more related to spatial data. Additionaly, I will show how to open ArcIMS within the Maximo software by using the Maximo 'Linked Documents' features.
