Abstract
The Swedish Armed Forces' Geoinfostudy
Track: Defense and Intelligence

The aim of the Swedish Geoinfostudy is to analyze and establish the requirements of geographic information and methods in order to enhance the capability to utilize the above in the future Swedish Military Defense, i.e. NCW-based, as well as in the cooperation with civilian units of the Swedish Total Defense and support to International Missions. The ultimate goal is to make the best possible use of geographic information in the entire Swedish Military Defense organizations by providing the right data to the whole organization thereby enabling optimum integration of existing and future components. The presentation gives a brief overview of highlights and the overall process.
