Track: Transportation
Author(s): Landon Lee, Angel Orozco

Advances in mobile computing have spurred the development of tools for improving data collection. This paper presents the development of a digital and bicycling hard copy map using Trimble GPS mobile data collecting devices and ArcGIS. It is a seventy mile round trip ride of the Los Angeles River bicycle trail from the Autry Museum to Long Beach. Access points and landmarks were recorded to inform cyclists and pedestrian of the river's landscape.
