 Florida Statewide Parcel Map Track: State and Local Government Author(s): George Beatty, Kevin Gorham The Florida Department of Revenue Mapping Section has finished their application to make any parcels in Florida accessible to any Dept. appraiser working from his desk. This doesn't sound very spectacular, but the years of training, conversion and support that brought this application to fruition provide an exciting example of what can be accomplished when a vision is shared by a small group and has a dedicated champion. This presentation will document how the parcel map became real in Florida. Our present and future challenge is multifaceted.
