ArcGIS 8.3 Spearheads GIS Data Conversion: City of Cleveland, Ohio Track: State and Local Government Author(s): Chris Davis, James Weaver, Edward Cardenas The City of Cleveland, with consultant Montgomery Watson Harza, is currently in the data conversion phase of its Enterprise GIS implementation. The data conversion encompasses the county parcels as well as the cities three utilities; water, sewer, and electric. his paper will present a project overview of the cities enterprise GIS implementation, the data conversion strategy utilized by the city and Montgomery Watson Harza, ArcGIS 8.3 utilization as the primary conversion tool, and the current project status and future goals.
