Strategic Assignment of Public Safety Personnel Using GIS
Track: Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice

A presentation of analysis toward defining improved police districts that reflect a more balanced distribution of workload from what is known about the demands from incidents, complaints, and other responsibilities. A few approaches are examined for this project done for New Castle County Public Safety (Delaware) that examined distribution of incidents, average travel time, priority, onscene workload, and other factors.
