 GIS Data Management Systems for Terrestrial Raptors Track: Forestry, Wildlife, and Fisheries Management Author(s): Dave LaPlante Regulatory oversight of Northern Spotted Owl and Northern Goshawk requires data management systems that fully integrate the spatial and tabular data used for analysis and decision support. This paper presents two systems currently used by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in the northern interior region of California and by the U.S. Forest Service throughout Region 5 developed to support those needs.
