Fuel and Energy Complex Data Analyzing in Russian North-West Track: Petroleum Author(s): Mikhail Grigoriev, Elena Daniel, Olga Vereninova, Olga Kozlova The fuel and energy complex data in North-West federal region, including Barents Sea Shelf, is integrated and analyzed by Gecon Ltd. using GIS technologies to support management in natural resource governing and the complex projects developing. The analysis of fuel resource's quality, license conditions, and spatial and temporal evolution resulted in the exploration forecast. The special emphasis is given to resource in Barents Sea Shelf as their significance is growing. We investigated the natural and technological conditions that have an influence on the resource's exploration and transportation and localized "chokepoints". The spatial analysis of the workable fields and oil transportation and selling system resulted in determination of the special areas (we call them oil and gas exploration centers) that are involved in resource developing.
