Abstract
The GISCI Certification Program for GIS Professionals Track: GIS Organization, Management and Implementation Author(s): Scott Grams This session will detail the GISCI Certification Program for GIS Professionals. Started on Janaury 1, 2004, this is a recognition program for established GIS professionals. It is a non-examination, portfolio-based system. Strategies for filling out the application as well as detailed information about the history of the effort and the Institute will be provided. Information about certification vs. licensure and state endorsements of the program will be offered as well.
