Abstract
USAF GeoBase Mission Data Sets: Functional Requirements, FSTR, and HLD/HLS Track: Defense and Intelligence Author(s): Charles Hill The USAF HQ AFCESA (Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency) Expeditionary GeoBase program is working in concert with GeoBase initiatives to define Functional stakeholder operational Geospatial requirements. Resulting efforts will enable SDSFIE 2.3 schemas within Geospatial specific perspectives for the individual stakeholder communities. Defining these exclusive Geospatial layers, attributes, and their normalized relationships is a primary facilitation issue within the extant GeoBase program. This effort coincides with broader Readiness, Response, & Recovery (R3) requirements complementing foundation Common Installation Picture (CIP) Geospatial models for Garrison (Installation) and Expeditionary (Site) mapping. Core Functional constituents include CE, EOD, HazMat, Fire, Medical, NBC, Security Forces, and Utilities. This GeoBase development intersects with the Installation Mapping Visualization Council-Data Standards Working Group, the Full Spectrum Threat Response (FSTR) program, and broader Guardian Joint Installation Protection Program (JIPP). The FSTR and JIPP programs concentrate on Response and Recovery aspects of Disaster Management and Emergency Response.
